Mesotherapy of the scalp is an injection treatment procedure aimed at solving problems of the scalp and hair (stopping hair loss, accelerating hair growth, restoring density and normalizing the hydrolipidic balance of the skin).
Medicinal products and vitamin "cocktails" are injected into the scalp containing:

- hyaluronic acid;

How scalp mesotherapy is performed:
First, the patient comes for an initial consultation with a trichologist. The doctor conducts diagnostics, issues a diagnosis, and draws up an individual treatment plan for the patient.
If necessary, prescribes a course of mesotherapy - one of the methods of treatment of diseases of the scalp and hair.
This procedure is performed by a trichologist. Before each session, the trichologist examines the area and checks whether there are any inflammatory processes on the scalp. If everything is fine, the trichologist proceeds to the procedure:
the first stage is treating the skin with an antiseptic;
the second stage introduces the drug by means of microinjection into the middle layers of the skin to a depth of 2-4 mm, at a distance of 1-1.5 cm between punctures;
the third stage, the skin is re-treated with an antiseptic to reduce the risk of infection at the puncture sites.

How to care for the scalp after mesotherapy:
After the procedure, micro wounds remain, the skin may be sensitive, swollen, and reddened. In order for the healing to proceed without complications, the specialists of the Clinic recommend:
do not wash your hair for a day;
do not use styling products;
do not scratch the scalp with nails or a comb;
do not stay in the sun for 2-3 days;
do not visit saunas or swimming pools for 2-3 days.

Mesotherapy for hair is performed in an average course of 8-10 procedures with an interval of 7-14 days between procedures. The exact number of necessary injections is determined by the Clinic's specialist during the preparation of the patient's individual treatment plan.
How long after the injection can you not wash your hair and use medical products for external use?
After the procedure, you cannot wash your hair for a day. It is not allowed to use medicinal products within 10-12 hours after the procedure (in exceptional cases, the doctor may prescribe the products to be used after the procedure, you will be warned about this during the consultation).
